Don Cherry is a very atypical clown, and being canadian has nothing to do it. He’s unique, opinionated, and willing to admit it when he’s wrong on TV. I’d take him over john madden’s stupid commentary any day.
your comment (Sharksfan) just shows you don’t know any canadians. they are like us, except they live north, have free health care and a better drinking age.

I would agree that Cherry is a clown, but not too sure he’s typical.

But you on the other hand are in fact a typical American clown. Loud and ignorant. Shoudn’t you be commenting on beach vollyball or something?

As a Canadian who spends alot of time in the U.S., its hard to understand your comment. If John Madden and Terry Bradshaw add some entertainment to football broadcasts, then you must be able to appreciate “Grapes” during hockey games…if you have never seen “Coach’s Corner” well you should, every GM in the NHL catches his 5 minute show on Saturday night’s Hockey Night in Canada, as this is as close as it gets to must see TV for hockey fans, its been a first intermission staple for over 25 years, as for the Don, the man has probably forgotten more about the sport then you will ever know, all he does is speak the truth, he never puts himself above the players or the game itself, and always pays huge respect to our fallen heroes in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as local police and firemen who have succumbed while in service. If you ever saw Slapshot this guy is Reg Dunlop x10 personified, played 20 years in the ‘A’ , coached in the minors and the show, owned and coached a team in the OHL, and donates so much of his time to charity and youth hockey…sorry the only clowns in Canada are the ones who work in the circus, not this guy.
