I’m a Flyers fan and I think that no matter how Detroit got it, be a shoot out, or overtime just being on the winning side 20 times is very impressive. Congrats Red Wings

As a Pats fan I respect the Wings and would be happy to see them hoist Lord Stanley. Lidstrom, Datysuk, Zetterberg, Babcock … these are classy hockey lifers and you’d be hard pressed to find a real reason not to be happy for their achievements.

Going along with that, the last two times New England has lost a Super Bowl, Detroit has won a Stanley Cup the same year.

Winning 20 straight at home is phenomenal any year, any time, any way.

This win was convincing against a very good Flyer team. Only a silly goalie mistake even made it close.

Great job Red Wings!!!
