Corvo has been an utter non-factor for the B’s (other than the last game or two). Maybe he’ll be better on a different team. Pouliot’s been great and I’d be sad to see him go.

The other problem with trades in the NHL now is that every team can sum up their wish list in two words: center and defense. About 3/4 of the league is in the race and the remaining 1/4 does not have enough defensemen and centers to go around. Naturally, that drives the price up. So, if you’re a team that NEEDS a trade to compete for the Cup (Blackhawks, I’m looking in your direction), you’re SOL.
