This team has been, as Mike Russo put it, "maddening" to watch. They've got about 4-5 games to turn it around or I think Chuck Fletcher makes it know he's a seller. There's too much pressure on him not to repeat mistakes of the past regime and let assets walk for nothing. They should be looking to ditch some salary so they can go after a big FA scorer like Parise or a defenseman like Suter. If enough moves are made, both wouldn't be out of the question.

My interest in the team does not hinge on wins and losses, but it is sad to go into each game now expecting a poor effort. Hopefully Latandress and PMB can contribute soon. Still love watching Spurgeon and what his story represents for young players who are told they are too small, too slow, etc.

The Wild have been a train-wreck. We keep hearing about injuries but the players injured are not even stone cold, lead pipe top end players. The Wild will have one more year before their grade A prospects hit the NHL scene, and they can actually start to make a strong competitive push. I know Yeo's public dismantling of the team may be getting old but it is important for he and GM Fletcher to make sure that everyone knows that even though talent is lacking, lack of heart is unacceptable.
