PHT’s Morning Skate takes a look around the world of hockey to see what’s happening and what we’ll be talking about around the NHL world and beyond.

As Garth has pointed out, the media are the ones assuming that Nabby would be traded. Nabby has said that he likes what he sees on the Island and has bonded with his teammates. The team seems to play better with him in net. Between him and Al Montoya, they offer stability in net as the team develops into a contender. Its possible that there will be an offer that will blow Garth away, but not likely. Expect Nabby, Al, and PA to be re-signed–unless a deal is worked out for a top four defenseman that involves one of them.

I hope management sticks with Yeo for the long term and lets the players know its his way or the highway.

I remember the comparisons between Mike Yeo and Guy Boucher at the start of this season, which makes it pretty fitting that the Mike Yeo Wild to this point have basically been last year’s Lightning in the first half and this year’s Lightning since.

So credit to him for efficiency.
