who admires their pass? It doesn’t happen. I’ve played my whole life- granted not at this level, but the game is the same- NOBODY “admires” their passes. That’s what I mean. And I agree that it is the puck handlers responsibility; however A) this was a shot B) tell me the last time you saw a player admirer his pass? C) if he had the puck and has had time to admire his pass he is no longer the puck carrier

Im sorry did I jus read that from someone claiming to know the game? You do realize what people mean when they say “dont watch your pass” right?

Since the first couple of guys strapped on skates and started playing this game it has always been the responsibility of the puck carrier to not put himself in a dangerous position …no ones telling you to not know where the puck is on the ice, they’re telling you to stop admiring your pass and be prepared for the contact that is inevitably on it’s way.

“learn the game” …come on dude.

It’s only one image, but I’m still not entirely convinced that was a head shot. Guessing the league felt the same way.

It was a late hit, and one that should’ve got two for interference. But otherwise it was a non-suspension-worthy hit that just had an unfortunate result.

Yet… no answer. The Bruins really don’t “pick” too many fights. they don’t put up with anything, marchand aside- they don’t really go out of their way to start stuff. When they do pick fights it’s with the likes of ott, subban, kaleta, neil, etc… the scum of the league – so in my book it’s deserved. There are pretty much three fanbases that think the Bruins are dirty; Habs, canucks and Sabers – All three of which are incredibly soft and often play the innocent agitator. Yes you did lose in game 7. just wanted to go over something with you. krecji 25 Seguin 20 Bergeron 26 Horton 26 Lucic 23 Marchand 23 Rask 24. the numbers following their names… ages. that isn’t counting Hamilton, knight, spooner and khokhlachev who are all gonna be big time players for years to come. have fun. oh yeah – ahahahahah

Don’t know what more I can say. I’ve already said that the Bruins never do anything wrong, and the rest of the teams in the NHL are dirty and pick fights with the Bruins. Isn’t that your position?

@habsman – Awww. You still didn’t answer the question. I didn’t complain or call out these other teams. I simply asked you to back up your statement – which you can’t. “sweet Karma for all the cheap shots by the Bruins over the past couple of years that went unpunished.” I ask you again… what cheap shots?
also – yes, I find great pleasure in the fact that the Canadiens will be terrible for at least two more years after this one. we’re talking bottom of the barrel bad. Oh but that’s cause their coach doesn’t speak french I forgot. It has nothing to do with the level of talent on the ice. It will be funny when a team like toronto or tampa or the NYI come in with UFA offer on price and you can’t afford him, but it’s ok you’ll have the 25th+ 1st rounder for the next couple years – and you do oh so well with drafting. you do realize that you don’t have any real money coming off and you need to resign Price, Subbam, Eller, emelin, diaz and pacioretty all within the next two years. ahahahahah. not enough money to sign the only players on your team worth signing. Gionta 5M. just to put things into perspective – for the money you have in Gomez and Markov- the Bruins have Bergeron, Krecji and Lucic. add campoli and kaberle into the mix…add horton and marchand. That is why I laugh.

And you know what? You’re right, the Bruins are clean and respectful team that never have any controversial incidents. All the other teams in the league are dirty, and pick fights with the Bruins. OK?

Sucks for Horton. I don’t much like him as a player (or the Bruins) but you hope he is at least able to live his life outside of the rink normally – given he can’t hit the ice without experiencing symptoms that’s almost certainly not the case.

I am pretty sure it’s normal to follow the puck – being the object of the game is to put the puck in the net and stop your opponent from scoring. people always make this comment and it’s stupid. the object of the game is to follow the puck. also- this particular play…. he shot the puck- thanks for playing though.

You do realize you have subban on your team? where do you think marchand learned the slew foot? I ask you again, what cheap shots? I can think of Subban coming in high on Krejci – no suspension.
