Don't act like you have a clue about the fans in AZ if you don't live there.... there was and or is a time in almost every franchise's history where the struggle to sellout games / seasons. Being in the desert must be a huge challenge..... that said I think the AZ community has done a pretty good job in being hockey fans for what they have had to work with... I would love to see more teams in Canada but if Phoenix can get an owner that will spend money to the cap and really put his team in a spot to compete each year, I bet you the fans would show up more in bulk....

This team will get moved eventually which seems to be sad for the state as if it had to flirt with a team they knew would end up being a rental in the end.

hahaha im pathetic eh?

ok so you cry about wanting to keep your team but will only go and support them once they meet your mandate of what a good hockey team is. You want a front runner to support, your no different than the cardinals fans at the pink taco stadium.

If you can't afford to put the type of players on your team who would put fans in the seats you are either A) poorly run (systems, coaching, management and marketing) or B) fickle sports fans who don't deserve it anyway. Do you think you live in a striving metropolis like L.A, Chicago or N.Y? You have to take what you can get because you live in a small market that is traditionally very cheap when it comes to supporting all your sports teams until they miraculously are playoff bound then the wagons circle and all is good.

Your team made the playoffs the last two seasons with a boring, trap like system that hung your goalie out to dry time and again all season. How did that work out for you? Bryz took off as soon as he could and last year you got 4 terrible games and a ride home. Good for you and the ten fans who enjoy that crap but the league is better than your joke of a franchise and will still be standing long after you guys are a distant memory.

I watch hockey religiously and your team is one of 3 or 4 i can't stand, so no i wouldn't waste my time attending one of your games when i have had the displeasure of sitting through a few on television. Its a joke and so are you.

Everything Roenick touches turns to crap even in the best situations, if he is your messiah get ready to be disappointed.

If your market cared about their own, Sarver would trade Nash without thinking about his bottom line and how fickle the locals are about spending money on sub par sports products...

hawk is nuts - you are the one that is pathetic, probably never been to a Coyotes game. Fans will come out when we have an owner and a budget to afford a couple of scorers. I'm no Roenick fan, but I appreciate his help in keeping the Yotes in Phoenix.

Ballsillie's attempts were overhyped. They never stood a chance. He had people in Hamilton truly believing they were getting a team, when it was obvious he had stepped on NHL toes. When he would put his bid in to buy a team, it would be the most pointless move he could make because Bettman wasnt going to just let him relocate the Yotes, Preds or Pens. He made bids on all 3 teams with intentions of relocation. Not to mention he wanted to do the exact same thing with the Sabres franchise. Balsillie was actually hurting Hamiltons future with the NHL more then he was helping it.

Reinsdolf didn't dwaddle - he didn't buy the team because they're hopeless & he wants to make money, not lose it.
Ice Edge never had the money to buy the team in the first place.
Hulsizer was the biggest joke of them all as he wanted Glendale to essentially pay him to own the team (look it up-a "managing fee" to be paid annually by Glendale as well as the bonds fiasco).
I know NBC is affiliated with the NHL but don't skew the facts to save face

Mario was a winner, remember those back to back stanley cup championships he brought the city of pittsburgh...yeah roenick not so much.

This is a pathetic farce, a publicity stunt to up the selling price of the franchise so gary bettman can save face when the market loses its worst sports team (yeah i know the cardinals play in said market as well).

Stop the bleeding already and just move the team to Seattle or Quebec...hell even KC is better suited than Arizona for the team.
