According to the LeftWingLock.Com line combinations tool Matt Moulson has literally not stepped on the ice this season without John Tavares.

(Last season the Isles had Moulson on the ice without JT for about 5% of their powerplay time and 1.27%)

Maybe the Kings should’ve held onto Moulson but let’s not pretend he’s out there generating all this offense by himself.

This is why the Kings are a mess

You hired a coach that uses ONE line to score and the rest to check, dump and chase and play D.

And now you’re wondering why you need a scorer?
The Kings have scorers, but you bailed on them after a slow start and hired a guy that doesn’t allow them to be scorers unless they play 1st line with Kopitar.

And if the Kings take on Jeff Carter Dean is without a doubt the worst GM in recent NHL memory.

Hate to be a broken record, Dean, but Matt Moulson, who you let go for nothing in 2009, has 6 more goals than anyone on your team. He also outscored everyone on your team last year and would have been 2nd in 2009-10.
