No matter what Subban does, he can’t win. The other night against NJ, he gives Larsson a “get-better” tap, HNIC panel rips him for that.

Here he drops the gloves with Wheeler after a hit, but because he double-clutched on the glove drop, giving him a half a second advantage, it’s considered a “punk” move.

Wheeler saying “he jumped me” is a pretty big stretch considering the two of them were facing each other and jawing back and forth the entire time. Subban may well have declined but Wheeler shouldn’t have dropped his guard.
