Yeah. They’re not gonna trade the guy to an up-and-coming team in their own division. Wouldn’t be surprised if Edmonton made a bid for Harding, though.

As for the draft, they should use their latest lottery pick to grab Murray or Trouba. They haven’t sucked QUITE hard enough for Yakupov or Grigorenko, but it’s just as well – they don’t need any more first-line forwards, they need defense and goaltending.

Looks like Hopkins might have to play center on the second line with Hemsky & Horcroft.

is this for real or what????? i watched the game he almost had a hand in the tying goal …can we now start too see what this kid is made of? doesnt hurt when hes playing with hall and eberle on the top line …now we are getting balenced scoring from 2 consistant lines and a good vet 3rd line( horcoff jones and smyth) still too little to late for the playoffs though but hemmer khabibulin sutton and perhaps ryan smyth could get us a decent haul in seperate trades to continue to stockplie for the future…i still think we need schnider outta vancouver but i cant see oilers and canuks making a deal like that
