Sounds good for Columbus but I don't see Carter as being a good fit in MN. If the Wild wanna spend big bucks I think they should go after Alex Semin if Wash. doesn't re-sign and he doesn't go back to the KHL (which is a strong possibility). I think his personality (shy, quiet) would sit well with a team that doesn't seem to have many big ego's

Carter is having a brutal year and has been poison to anyone in a fantasy league but his career isn't over. He'll score over 30+ goals many more times once he gets back on track. He was seriously pissed following the Philly trade and then to all places, he has to go to Columbus. He should have grew a set of balls and dealt with it like a man who getting paid oodles of cash to do a job. But he'll still end up producing very well over the next number of years, provided he's playing somewhere that tickles his fancy.
So anyway, as bad as he's been, don't think he won't be a valuable player down the road.

A long shot but lets throw stuff at the wall. Zidlicky + Harding for Carter, CBJ gets a goalie plus a D-man the money works out somewhat obviously MN has more risk in this move. I know it won't happen but a guy can dream for more scoring can't he?

Carter in Toronto?

Doesn't Carter/Kessel seem a bit too similar to Carter/Nash?

Why would anyone put two 300+ shooters on the same line?

luongo + ballard or luongo + mason for carter

both have terrible contracts and are under performing big time

steve mason needs to be replaced and luongo can't run away because of his contract

ha ha i know its probably a terrible idea but i just want this bum off the west coast and we need a player who can score for our top 6

swap those terrible contracts and maybe they will get motivated to play to their potential again

cbs general manager is a tool anyway so this might actually happen!
