Nope, fighting will always have a place in the game, but if you fight 1000x better than you backcheck or skate you don’t belong in the NHL.

I’m glad to see Rechlicz get sent down, and could not believe that he was added to the team in the first place. Enforcers, and fighting, are on the way out in the NHL – an least I hope so based on the latest statistics for the number of fights this season.
