It’s easy to kick Carter when he’s down right now, but this reflects badly on the Blue Jackets and the Blue Jackets only.

I wonder if the people who are surprised that Carter hasn’t lit the world on fire in 30 games on the league’s worst team recovering from injuries are the same ones that got a little too high on the big Canadian kid who put up a 46 goal season before turning 26?

The fact is that Carter is a good-but-not-great player – it should have been pretty clear, and for the Blue Jackets to not recognize that (hence the buyers remorse) is just shameful.

Carter – meh. He could do a better job of hiding the fact that he isn’t happy in Columbus, but who would be happy?

Now the rest of the hockey world is seeing exactly what the Flyers were dealing with. Carter needs to wise up for his own sake. CBJ got duped by Carter’s shallow numbers.
