NHL should be proud that it’s given the All Star game to such a well run and competitive franchise. Thanks, Garry! Now, all the season tickets fans will buy their tickets next season so they can get All Star tickets and we can look forward to the rematch where San Jose will beat CBJ 9-0 and a fight will break out because someone on the Sharks bench looked at someone on the Columbus “funny”.

Kinda like Joe repeatedly putting his finger in Henrik’s face when they were talking to the refs recently? Or when he dropped like his legs had been chopped off from a minor slash?

I don’t see anything that looks like water being squirted but it’s hardly the worst thing he’s done even if he did (not saying he’s the only one ever to do so either).

I agree. You can clearly see even in the small player that someone squirts a water bottle in Dorsett’s direction. I had to watch it several times in 720p before I was sure that it was Thornton who did the squirting.

As a Sharks fan I find that pretty disappointing. Go out there and break his face if you’re that upset with him, don’t pull that bush league crap.

He did get squirted!!! If you watch the video full screen you can see what I believe to be Joe Thornton reach for a water bottle and then squirt it at Dorsett as he goes by!

Right at 57 mark you can clearly see that he does get squirted from the middle of the bench.

There’s a really good close-up at the 54 second mark, though no clear-cut evidence of any squirting.

People need to shut up and just play hockey. The story about the Habs complaining didn’t surprise me because it’s the Habs, but it seems there’s a lot more whining in hockey than there used to be.
