If demand for the seats exceeds supply, the tickets will be pricey. New York, particularly right there in Brooklyn, should be able to support high ticket prices. Total revenue isn’t based solely on seating capacity.

Put on a good show each night, each year. Give the people a fun place to spend an evening. Why the hell wouldn’t that work in Brooklyn?

I drive from Brooklyn for 10 games a year WITH NO MASS TRANSIT OPTION. They can come west via a LIRR trip very easily. The entitlement is absurd. Good for Brooklyn and good for the Islanders.

To me, the choices seem to be a renovation of the existing structure which has very good sight lines or a move to the old Shea site and construction of a parking garage serving the new arena and CitiField. The sooner this is resolved, the better it will be for the team.
