Bylsma says Crosby isn’t upset with Penguins medical staff

Jan 30, 2012, 10:32 PM EDT

crosbybehindbylsma AP

At least one Pittsburgh media member is downright incredulous about the supposed missteps of the Penguins’ medical staff in light of Sidney Crosby‘s neck injury, but Dan Bylsma told reporters that Crosby doesn’t share that beef.

“I feel, Sidney feels, he’s gotten every possible support from the Penguins and the Penguins’ medical staff in the situation he’s in, to try to find an answer to where he’s at, what his condition is, what is his best road for recovery,” Bylsma said.

The beginning of that quote (Bylsma feels, Crosby feels) is the juiciest part of the story, if you’re squeezing for juice. The $8.7 million question is if Bylsma is actually in the right position to speak for his star player.

Does Bylsma really know how Crosby feels about this situation or is he just expressing his wishful thoughts? Ultimately, Crosby ranks as the only person who can honestly answer that question and if he’s unhappy, it could be years before we find out – if that ever happens.

He should be upset with his mother for giving birth to the little rat. (Since the Crosby bs is outplayed, I vow to comment on every article about her in my continuance of pissing off the bandwagon fans in Pittsburgh)

    • Kristenaux - Jan 30, 2012 at 11:06 PM

Wow, sjsharksfan11, you really know how to capture attention. Along the same lines as a pile of dog crap on a lawn does.

Let me preface this by saying while I’m a huge Pens fan, I’m not a Crosby fan. I agree he gets more hype than any 30 players in the league and even I get way tired of the constant chatter about him.

But I take offense at you feeling you have a right to attack Pens “bandwagon”, or any other kind of Pens fans just because you’ve got your little panties in a knot over Crosby. There are players on this team who can fill in and make up for the absence of Crosby and they’ve proven that. Pens fans are supportive of them and nobody’s whining about the loss of Crosby.
So you’ve had your little 15 minutes of fame. How do you feel?

  2. sheckyrimshot - Jan 30, 2012 at 10:57 PM

good work there buddy. broken necks and brain damage are hilarious.

  3. sjsharksfan11 - Jan 30, 2012 at 11:12 PM

You’re all bandwagon fans. The only way the pens win is with his diving and crying which the NHL pays the referees to cater to. By the way…I feel great!

    • icedog97 - Jan 30, 2012 at 11:55 PM

Excellent reply for a 5th grader.

Keep up the good work and don’t forget you have a Social Studies test Thursday.

    • pacoj68 - Jan 31, 2012 at 1:54 AM

Like the Sharks don’t have bandwagon fans themselves. as a San Jose native the only time I see people sporting their Sharks gear is when playoff season comes around. STFU d***khead! every team (whatever sport) has their share of bandwagon fans f**kface.

just face it. you’re a LOSER! kill yourself already.

    • m1k3g - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:09 PM

      Pens fan in SoCal here.

There are no real hockey fans in the bay area, so you’re in no position to comment. (See, others can cast wide nets and make ridiculous comments too).

Hey dude, how did you feel watching the Ducks hoist the Cup a few years ago?

LA – 1 Cup final appearance
ANH – 2 Cup final appearances and 1 Cup win.
SJ – Infinite choke champions of California

You guys should trade for Luongo. It would create this epic vortex of choke unlike anything professional sports has ever seen.

  4. sheckyrimshot - Jan 30, 2012 at 11:35 PM

talk about bandwagon fans but you couldnt even get sjsharksfan1-10? a little late to the party, eh bandwagoner?

  5. sjsharksfan11 - Jan 30, 2012 at 11:38 PM

That makes no sense you crybaby butt kisser.

    • 1943mrmojorisin1971 - Jan 31, 2012 at 1:28 AM

I find it funny that a guy who goes around this site deriding the, to quote the kid himself, “idiocracy” of other posters can’t even find the reply button.

  6. rgledz - Jan 30, 2012 at 11:53 PM

Ya, those bandwagon fans in Pittsburgh. It’s nothing like the hockey hotbed that is San Jose. A team that has been in existence since waaaaaay back in 1991 and boasts a whopping zero Stanley Cups. Impressive. Thanks Sjsharksfan for taking time away from your heated match of Dungeon’s and Dragon’s in your mother’s basement to enlighten the fans of the NHL about the bandwagon fans in Pittsburgh. Those idiots with their rich 45 year history and 3 Stanley Cups. What do they know about being fans.

  7. shannysux - Jan 30, 2012 at 11:54 PM

lol, i know its funny, but it’s really better to not feed the troll

  8. sjsharksfan11 - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:06 AM

My team could NEVER win a cup in my lifetime and I’ll go to the grave still a fan. By the way, 45 year history and only three is pathetic. Get back to me when they have a many cups as or become a classy and storied organization like Detroit.

    • icedog97 - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:21 AM

You do realize that since 1967, the Red Wings have won 4 cups and the Penguins 3.

It’s sort of illogical to compare how teams did when there were 6 or 12 teams in the league versus when the Penguins won their first cup with 21 teams in the league…and the next year when the Sharks joined and made it 22.

From 1942 to 1967 the Wings won 5 cups…but there were only 6 teams in the league for those years. 1 in 6 …those are pretty good odds.

    • pacoj68 - Jan 31, 2012 at 1:51 AM

There you go kissing ass to another team while giving your team the shaft. WTF have the Sharks done besides win the President’s trophy? Nothing! You got no argument. get off your keyboard and go sodomize your butt buddy finfan.

  9. sjsharksfan11 - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:25 AM

Detroit has ALWAYS been good rather than the flash in the pan with Lemieux and now good again with the NHL emergence and catering to the hermaphrodite crybaby.

    • icedog97 - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:31 AM

You should close the wikipedia page and get back to Social Studies. If you fail this test, someone’s going to be very unhappy and that will mean no more xbox for you.

  10. whittle79 - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:29 AM

  11. 1943mrmojorisin1971 - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:43 AM

I vote we start ignoring sjsharksfan11 and that pittsburghpooslayer guy every time they post something idiotic, which is every time they post. Trolls are starting to ruin this site, but trolls that don’t get fed will eventually die. Thumbs up if you’re with me.

    • cshearing - Jan 31, 2012 at 8:20 AM

Both these idiots need to be banned. If the moderation is non-existent here, I’ll find another site that cares more.

      • icedog97 - Jan 31, 2012 at 9:37 AM

It wouldn’t surprise me (in the least) if it turned out that both of those geniuses are moderators.

        Clicks = Ca$h

  12. pittsburghpoonslayer - Jan 31, 2012 at 6:06 AM

san jose sharks couldn’t hold the penguins nut holsters. and mrmojorisin you sir are a complete dooshbag. my comments are more relevant than your dumb ass jim morrison name. get over it hes dead doosher.

    • 1943mrmojorisin1971 - Jan 31, 2012 at 1:29 PM

The votes don’t lie. People hate you by a score of 24-5 as it stands, and at least a couple of those 5 are probably you. Find something better to do than trying to ruin PHT for those of us who have hit puberty.

  13. sjm1717 - Jan 31, 2012 at 7:15 AM

Sharksfan…not everybody can live in a natural hockey hotbed like San Jose…

  14. hockeyfan1701 - Jan 31, 2012 at 7:15 AM

Leave sjsharksfan11 alone, this is the only thing he has in his life, he peaked high school and now still drives the same car and works the same job, he has to have something………

  15. lsxphotog - Jan 31, 2012 at 8:41 AM

He should be. A serious injury went unnoticed by the medical staff of a premier professional sports team how? “ohhhh yeah…and it turns out you had a broken neck too, good that that healed up on it’s own.” What if it hadn’t healed up?

  16. Jeff Thomas - Jan 31, 2012 at 9:26 AM

Why would Sid be angry? They only missed his broken neck, thought James Neal had a broken foot, gave Jordan Staal a foot infection, botched Max Talbot’s shoulder surgery, and might have botched Dustin Jeffrey’s ACL surgery. No problems. Nothing to see here.

  17. stixzidinia - Jan 31, 2012 at 10:56 AM

Bandwagon fans are the only kind of fans San Jose has. Not like a single one of them even knew what a hockey puck even was before Gretzky brought the game south to California.

  18. sjsharksfan11 - Jan 31, 2012 at 12:28 PM

The responses are hilarious! All of a sudden all you guys are hockey experts, you city is better, your team is better blah blah blah. Get over yourselves and the huge ego you have. And to the clown talking about site moderation…you do know you clowns would be banned or penalized as well right? Look at the things you yourselves have said and continue to say. I’m getting a kick out out of the hypocrisy here!
