Can we have one post about the flyers without it turning into an argument about Sidney Crosby? Seriously. It’s a good story about two players coming back from a serious injury. We should applaud this instead of calling them “pussies” for avoiding contact and getting into a bitch fight about a guy who’s played, what, 8 games in a year? Grow up. I don’t know of anyone who is a real fan of any sport that watches just because of one player. Anyone who watched just because Crosby was playing probably stopped once he was hurt, therefore is not a real fan of the sport. I have a niece who will watch football if Tom Brady is on, but I wouldn’t call her a football fan and claim that Brady is saving football. I hate Crosby, am a Flyers fan, and do hope Crosby comes back from the concussions (and apparently now a broken neck) because I know how much it sucks when your top player (Lindros, Pronger) goes out prematurely. That said- show a little class when it comes to other players trying to return from concussions. It will be a first.

Never in my life have I seen someone so enamored (you can look that one up too, bud) and blinded by someone’s cock. I fail to see how Sidney Crosby of all players stands as a Pillar of Masculinity for you, man. Skilled player, yes. But masculine? We can review his long list of ‘fights’ (i.e. jumping people right off a faceoff) and ‘scraps’ (hiding behind Brooks Orpik, and referees when someone comes to challenge him).
