I am shocked, just shocked, that all of you 1st amendment experts who have spent so much time defending T-TT-TIMMY but when someone else (heck, anyone else) uses their 1st amendment rights you all cry foul. Jack Todd is an opinion writer. Do any of you understand the term opinion. T-TT-TIMMY is a follower and believer in former TV host, former radio host, I don’t know what street corner he lives on now, Glenn Beck. Glenn Beck has stated – “This president I think has exposed himself over and over again as a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture….I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people, I’m saying he has a problem. This guy is, I believe, a racist.” and “So here you have Barack Obama going in and spending the money on embryonic stem cell research. … Eugenics. In case you don’t know what Eugenics led us to: the Final Solution. A master race! A perfect person. … The stuff that we are facing is absolutely frightening.” among other things.

Personally, I think that Mr. Todd is making a bit of a leap in assuming that Glenn Beck’s ignorance automatically transfers to T-TT-TIMMY but I do understand the logic in making that leap. When I read the complete article as it was written it really fits the piece and, I believe may have been an attempt at hyperbole which has been selectively clipped and used to sensationalize.

Seems like anyone to disagree with the President is quickly called a racist by someone. In this case it took a little longer I guess. I’m mostly basing this by what I see on late night talk shows like Daily Show so I could be completely wrong.

I think Tomas is a complete moron but this kind of thing is equally idiotic. Nothing he has actually said or done indicates that this was racially motivated. People immediately playing the race card the moment anyone has an issue with Obama really just serves to ruin the credibility of all the genuine criticisms of guys like Tomas.
