1)The president didn’t and probably still doesn’t know who you are Tim. He certainly has more pressing matters to attend to other than meeting a team from a league who only 4% of America knows who its top “stars” are. it’s not like he set up an appointment to meet with a bunch of athletes who’s trophy is more popular than they are.

2)Thomas is a narcissistic douche! he figured because of all the constant ass kissing he receives from the hockey media, the fans in boston and the people around him that his political opinion was SOOOOooooo important and that it would make some kind of drastic change in the way people think. guess what Tim. Most level headed people already know how F’ed up our political system is and that it’s heading down the drain, especially those of us who make the same amount annually that you make in one day! more level headed people know that both democrats and republicans are responsible for this mess. so yeah, we’re well aware that it’s allowing a country like Brazil the chance to leap frog us as a world power in the next few decades if things don’t change.

3)no matter what people may tell you, you ruined that day for the Boston Bruins team by shifting all the attention to you and your un-unique political stance. i can only surmise that your setting yourself up for a career in politics post nhl career by doing what you did, your team mates be damned. or, go back to point number 2. what ever works for you, Tim, because after all, it’s all about you……
