I'd gladly love to have him come to San Jose. The Sharks could use someone with his grit, leadership, and ability to be a net presence. The Sharks lack all those qualities I dont care what anyone says.

As I Stars fan and thus somebody who watches every game he plays, I say trade him please. His best play his far behind him, and clearly whoever wrote this article hasn't watched many Stars games this season. What isn't mentioned in this article is the fact that Morrow has a NTC, so ultimately he'll decide if he gets traded or not.

I'd go for it, honestly. He's not really performing quite up to snuff this year, but he's going to go high because of previous performances. Problem is, he could well just be going through a slump right now, and at his best he's a very solid two-way presence and an anchor for the team. He's a good captain and a good player, so he'll leave a fairly pronounced hole. However, his value would net them a good return. Defensively, they need to upgrade. They could use some more depth and probably one more true scoring forward, which Morrow doesn't seem to be. When he notches thirty goals, he's doing what they need, but he's not doing that this year. I imagine they're missing James Neal now that he and Benn have both turned into All-Star powerhouses.

It's a hard trade, but worth considering. They'll get a great return out of him, especially with a lot of teams looking for a top-six winger. Detroit comes to mind. St. Louis, maybe. Boston loves tough two-way guys with a scoring touch. Hell, even Vancouver, maybe. They need some tough guys, and Morrow's definitely a hard-nosed player. They've got parts to trade, too. And other less prominent contenders. If they want to sell him at all, now is DEFINITELY the time. Everyone's looking this year. Next year, they won't be.
