The Florida Panthers have traded Tim Kennedy to the San Jose Sharks in return for Sean Sullivan.

Kennedy is a forward.

Sullivan is a defenseman.

They’ve both spent a lot of time in the AHL this season.

That is all.

Typical Doug Wilson move. Now we’ll have to hear how great and underrated of a player Kennedy is.

    From David Pollack’s blog:

UPDATE: The Sharks just announced that they’ve acquired Florida Panthers forward Tim Kennedy for minor-league defenseman Sean Sullivan.

Kennedy, 25, has played 27 games with the Panthers this season and has two points while splitting time with minor-league San Antonio. He’s being assigned to Worcester (FIXED). Sullivan had 24 points this season in Worcester.

Seems like a pretty crappy trade on the surface. I thought that with all of the injuries, the Sharks would be looking to ACQUIRE forwards, not dump them, regardless of whether or not they are currently in the AHL or the NHL.

David Pollack is a weasel, kiss ass, and an idiot. I’ll never read anything that pansy writes

Stanley Cup here we come, what a joke Doug Wilson has become. Is there a garbage player anywhere in the league that he doesn’t have his eye on? My guess is that you will see Kennedy playing on the Sharks top line within a week, and Wilson gushing about how good this non-scoring marginal minor leaguer really is.

What Doug, Tomas Pihal wasn’t available and where is Patrick Rissmiller?

I once saw Pollak at a Sharks practice he was hiding in a corner and curled up like he was scared of something. Maybe he saw his shadow.
