So she gets attacked by some asshole Bruins fan and she gets fired for it? And meanwhile, this moron just get’s a warning from security? Even though he flat out shoves her to the ground from behind? WTF kind of bullshit is that?

Have you never been to a game as a fan of the away team? You take a few shots at your expense. Maybe you get silly stringed by the mascot (oh noes, the horrors)… it’s all in good fun and just something you deal with when there’s thousands upon thousands of people in the building who are fans or employees of the team you’re cheering against.

Nobody could milk this to the extent of Tim Thomas, since the woman behind Thunder Bug would be lucky to get 5 minutes of fame, never mind 15. Timmy, on the other hand, ends up in the spotlight all on his own.

Wait a minute, you see no problem with someone attacking a person because they have a right not to have silly string shot at them? Do you not see the irony of that statement?

An appropriate reaction to being silly stringed would be to call them a name and moon them, not push them from behind.
