The Montreal Canadiens lose 14 championships bringing their total from 22 to 8. And Sorry Maple Leafs fans, but your team now has no championships. Clearly the Tampa Bay Lightning have a much more historic franchise than you anyway…. they have a championship and you don’t.

What else? Ummm. will someone remove Hank Aaron from the Hall of Fame? the man only has 201 home runs. Those aren’t really “Hall worthy” numbers. And who the hell is this Babe Ruth fella? And what’s the big deal with Roberto Clemente? The guy played 3 years in his entire career. If he and some guy named Honus Wagner who never played a game are considered the two best players in Pirates history, then they must really suck.

Can anyone catch a break on the flyers team with out getting shit on? Schenn had two injuries this season and he’s come back to start to really show his potential. Man, everyone shit the bed when Crosby came back and got 4 points, then he fell the fuck back into his concussion funk. Goddamn, relax on the Flyers hate. You’d think that Flyers players personally raped members of some of these posters families. The two Flyers most likely to rape members of your families are now gone, one is collecting money for having frosted tips in Columbus (Jeff Carter) and the other is wearing Uggz with Simon Gagne out in L.A. (Mike Richards). So damn boys, just chill and be cool. Its hockey, we all love it. Can we not just celebrate a player doing well now and again without the animosity?

As for the greatest city in sports history- Pittsburgh does not even have 4 major sports teams. I think you would need 4 to get in the argument. In no way am I implying that Philly is the greatest sports city but Pittsburgh is not even in the running. Pittsburgh has 14 championships in the acknowledged major sports leagues (Steelers 6, Pirates 5, Penguins 3). Philly has 17 (Athletics 5, Phillies 3, Eagles 3, Flyers 2, Sixers 2, Warriors 1, Quakers 1, Yellow Jackets 1). I guess if ignorance was not bliss you would have known that.
