Meanwhile, on the internet, people are watching the following video from Slovakia of an arena’s roof collapsing under the weight of snow just after former NHL player Richard Zednik and a bunch of kids left the ice.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt.

The Metrodome could not be reached for comment.

    HOLY SHIIIIIIIIIT! first he gets his carotid artery slashed and lives, then he lives/helps save those kids during this….beast.

    I used to manage an sure supported sports structure and we dealt witha collapse a few years ago. It happened overnight, so noone was in harms way, but being inside the next day was a mind opening experience to the devastating power of that much snow.

    Wish them the best.

    Woot, you can hear the compressors running still when he reaches the end of the “boards tunnel”. Always funny what things still work when everything goes to shit.
