Dumbass knows the rules about as well as Brad fucking Marchand. Whether or not you fucked up your cheapshot doesn’t make it any less of one, Ovi. That you didn’t hurt him has no bearing on the fact that you couldn’t be assed to play the game properly.

First let me say that I’m not a fan (ot hater) of the Caps or Pens.

The difference between the two players is that Ovie tiptoes the dirty/clean line a lot more often than Crosby.

It was only a big deal because it happened in S***sburgh, to Bettman’s golden girls. And the fact that the 2 D-Bag announcers couldnt stop whining about it like it happened to one of thier own daughters, only proves that there is special treatment. How about the elbows that freakenstein throws around? He is scoring now that the cherrypicker is not playing.

He admits he jumped but thinks it wasn’t a dirty hit? Somebody should tell Ovie that jumping at guys has always been against the rules whether you injure the player or not. The fact that he didn’t get a penalty on the play probably factored in to the suspension as he should have gotten at least 2 mins or maybe even 5 and a game.

Rather than trying to make your point by saying “I didn’t get a penalty on the play”, he should consider himself lucky. The majority of the players in the league would have been given 5 minutes.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. There’s no denying Ovie’s talent, but he came into the league at the right time. 20 years ago, someone would have taken his head off by now.

Whatever, let him whine about the suspension like a child, it’s better this way anyway; now the All-Star spot can go to someone who deserved it on merit, not just name recognition, and who will probably appreciate it.
