Niskanen has been played very well this season. Gogo had the offensive ability of a top pair d-man but the defensive ability of a 3rd pairing while here in Pittsburgh. Unless he improved since the trade he just got over paid. I haven’t seen much of his play lately so maybe he has improved since the Stars aren’t known for over paying players.
