I’m surprised Moore still has Danson as counsel. He has muffed this one from the beginning, when he advised Moore to file suit in Colorado on the basis of a conspiracy being formed in Colorado to injure Moore in Vancouver. Any first year law student would have advised Moore that this was ridiculous advice; advice that cost Moore at least two years of bickering and costs and ended in entirely predictable fashion – the Colorado judge ruled that there was no basis for hearing the matter in Colorado. Danson’s public statements since that time, such as the statements above, have been equally ridiculous and have served to make his client one of the least sympathetic plaintiff’s in memory. Alleging a fresh conspiracy after 7 years of posturing and delay, largely instigated by Danson, is farcical. It is too bad, had Moore retained more pragmatic counsel he would likely be enjoying his cash and probably would have been able to devote time and energy towards attempting a comeback.
