He and Marchand are possibly the worst of enemies, but perhaps they should be the best of friends – the kind that enrols in self-help programs together to improve upon their obviously flawed characters. I’d much rather see them play clean hockey because they’re half decent at it.

The guy plays a dirty game – which is a shame because he seemed to have some potential. Maybe he can still realize that potential some day… as soon as he learns how to hit someone without kicking their feet out from under them.

That said, the league needs to really crack down on this slewfooting business (you know, like they have to crack down on everything else). It’s as dangerous as a head shot or hitting someone from behind.

Ifthe NHL had any guts Subban would already be a multi-offense repeat offender, but they don’t, so he just gets $2,500. That’s like a $5 speeding ticket to normal people. Big joke.

I agree with drew about the talent, in fact last night after I saw the slew foot, I wanted to see what he’s up to. His numbers aren’t good at all and when I think of him, I don’t think of his slapshot anymore. I think of some punk who spits at people, throws elbows, picks fights then turtles up. He actually reminds me of Avery. Avery is an excellent skater, good passer, but is a complete clown. Granted, subban has even more talent, but his rap sheet is getting bigger by the week. I feel like it will be six yrs down the road and well still be talking about his potential and talent. At least Avery fights people this guy is even more annoying in that respect. Let’s not forget his arrogance too.

He’s talented (this, from a Boston fan): a great shot, good hands, speed, grit — but he’s a punk. He yaps and whines and dives, and then he dishes out cheap shot after cheap shot. If he’s going to play with the edge that’s fine — he should just stopping acting like a wuss when he gets called on it and man up. (Reference the turtle he went into last game vs. Bruins).
