Not everything in life has some deeper, darker meaning.

The guy has a serious medical issue that he is not getting better from. If you were sick and weren’t getting better, no matter how good the reputation of your doctor was, if you had the financial resources to jet all around the country (as Crosby/the Penguins do) and the time to do it, you would do it in a heartbeat. Any of us would. It’s just common sense.

yet another daily crosby report? you guys know there is other stuff going on in hockey right? people are getting sick of the daily reports that dont say anything we dont already know or heard multiple times before. i dont hold any ill will towards crosby or the penguins but this is getting silly. im also pretty sure the constant articles are loading way more pressure on crosby than he really needs to be dealing with. leave the guy alone so he can recover! if he comes back or he doesnt, then write an article about that, but give the guy some breathing room, all this pressure to return gets multiplied by the constant media circus which is probably making it harder for him than it needs to be. everybody is sick and tired of hearing the daily reports, including crosby.

I am a bit confused about all of this. Having lived in Pittsburgh for 8 years & actually been in UPMC’s Neurology wing for 7 weeks for brain surgery, I know for a fact that the hospital is rated one of the best in the country for Neurological problems. Cancer as well. So why is Sid being sent all over the place when some of the best is right at home? It makes me VERY suspicious that they don’t like the news they got right at home & are looking for a second opinion.

Something just doesn’t sit right with me on all this.
