It seems that people are ignore a glaring flaw: the team’s system. Many times the Flyers are scrambling around in their own zone. I don’t know if one player will change the hole in Coach Lavi’s defensive scheme. He has done a great job with the rookies and the team’s offensive output. He needs to address the defensive side though. Both D and forwards are accountable for this problem.

Flyers have picks they can deal but it doesn’t help when your best trade bait goes out with a head injury.

What do the Flyers have to move now though? Aren’t most of their top “prospects” now playing in the NHL? I’m not up on their farm system, but what do they have to make a trade?

Suter would not come cheap.

Two. They need a D good enough to fly with Timonen and a goalie that can make the occasional save. In theory, Bobrovsky is that, but they refuse to give him any time to prove it, preferring instead to use Ilya Bryzgalov to demonstrate the futility of trying to jam a square peg in a round hole.
