They got five shots on goal in both of the first two periods, not much more than that in the third, and I never really did see any sign of solid offense. They took lazy penalties, they were sloppy in their own zone (Vokoun should have been pissed)… just a mess.

If McPhee doesn’t see a reason to make a trade, it’s because he stayed home last night. That team needs a backbone installed ASAP, and if they can’t get it from Mike Green, they need to get it from somewhere- because no one on the roster last night was willing to provide it.
