okay…for the record, this is exactly why there’s such a huge following of Crosby haters. Granted, he may be the best player in the league when he’s healthy, he may even be the poster boy of hockey…but this is at least the third NON-update about him I’ve seen this month. Seriously, was somebody out there following him around on the ice with a stop-watch?! The sport will go on without him, believe it or not. I thought the penguins would too but, well…that seems somewhat debatable at this point

Seems like not a big deal to me. This would be akin to a basketball player shooting some free-throws. A 27 minute skate, and that’s what it most likely was, a skate, is nothing even close to hockey. Honestly, until he plays a few months without a problem, I don’t think anyone is going to believe this is behind him. For certain, a 27 minute skate won’t.

Until he is ready for contact, it is basically irrelivant.
