Backs hasn’t played well but so hasn’t the entire team and not to mention our top 6 has only played a handful of games together… I don’t think “To avoid an embarrassing collapse” is very accurate when players like Seto, Koivu, Latendresse, PMB, Wellman, + others have been injured most of the year or during the recent “slump”. Show me one other team out there that could last in the standings…
