Oh, Karl. You’re just mad because your overrated team is being outperformed by the Senators, Maple Leafs, Panthers and just about everyone else. Maybe you should bitch about other players’ celebrations less and try to get your hilariously overpaid “stars” to do them more. I thought your showboating captain loved that shit. Then again, he did only do it when he scored a lot, so that explains why we haven’t seen it for a while.

This article brought to the forefront of my mind something that I already knew – the NHL is awesome. Reviews are handled correctly, not horrendously skewed, the rules make sense, players can celebrate, there is no more “wheel of justice,” and it’s just all around awesome. Yay NHL.

If the celebration is over the top, they will get 2 minutes. Clearly, this wasn’t.

Sounds like Karl Alzner’s parents let him win all the time when he was a kid, so now he can’t handle when he loses (whether it’s a game, a battle, a +/- point, etc)

Caps fan here…eh, doesn’t bother me he did it, wouldn’t bother me if someone had run him for it either.

Im fine with players daring the opponent to fire back… to a point… things like aiming your “sniper rifle” at the goalie are over the line, but this is fine.

Maybe if he would have stood him up as soon as he crossed the blue line, he wouldn’t have to deal with a goal and celebration. Way to be original though, Tebow actually prays, these clowns just mock it.

Would have been better to pull an Anisimov or grab and imaginary arrow, draw it back perpendicular to his stick and firing at the net.
