As a Canucks fan I’m happy to see them miss the playoffs, but I never count them out. I can easily see them making a late season push for the 7-8 playoff spot.

On the other hand, I have no doubt in my mind that he really believes what he’s saying. That’s what makes him a great leader and captain. Every team in the league should expect to win the Cup every year, otherwise why even show up?
