Vancouver blew a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Finals! The Stanley Cup is in Boston and the Bruins are reigning NHL Champions. The Canucks are the second best hockey team in the world. A Stanley Cup rematch would be awesome. Good luck to both teams, but stay classy, fans.

Watch the clip, at one point there are 4 Canucks on Thornton , including one Sedin . Then 2 more Canucks come into the picture ( that’s 6 guys on the ice not counting the guy who was fighting Horton), then the Sedin sneaks onto the bench. I personally don’t care that much about the fight, but how does Boston go down 2 men? Some real strange penalty calls there!

Well, I’m certainly not a Boston fan… but I still can’t figure out how they ended up two men down after this brawl. I understand the whole “Keep the game under control” thing with a lot of the calls, but this fight seemed like the penelties should have canceled out. I would say it was a horrible call by the refs to put one team two men down after a strait up line brawl.

I counted three, sometimes 4 Canucks on Thornton before the other Bruins got there. Memo to the NHL: Don’t want to see this? Don’t schedule the Canucks to play the Bruins. This ain’t going away. Suspend Lucic for ten and it will get worse.

The refs were totally unprepared for this potential mayhem and were probably more than willing to let Thornton get his brains beat out by multiple Canucks before the rest of the B’s stepped in. It’s obvious to me that there was a lot that happened last May between these two teams and the B’s weren’t letting it go.

I like the way Horton got his own pound of the flesh against the team that kept him off the ice for the majority of the series. We won the one that counted Vancouver.

Not much of a Canucks or Bruins fan, but I love how Bieksa pairs off with Chara in the beginning, looks up realizing it’s Chara, and decides it’s in his best interest not to fight Chara.. They then just stand next to each other for the majority of the scrum, watching everyone else fight. Would have been nice to have 24/7 for this to give us an inside listen as to how that conversation might have went.

I’m a Bruins fan and I say congrats to you for beating the Bruins Honestly, I am happy that you won because I still know that Boston is an amazing team that can kill just about any team out there. I am over the loss and am moving on to the next game. It seems like you are sore winners….

The reffing was fine. Both teams just took a lot of dumb penalties. Refs just wanted to keep a game like this under control.

What a joke…Canucks had 7 guys on the ice. Sedin steps off and they still had 6 guys involved in the scrap…yet only Lucic gets a game misconduct. Big time p**sy move by the Canucks having 6 guys jump Thornton.
