Winter Classic assault

The Philadelphia man who posted online that he was involved in an attack on a pair of New York Rangers fans following Monday’s Winter Classic was just joking.

A source told that the man – initially identified by – is no longer a suspect and that the investigation is ongoing.

The man didn’t say what his next prank would be, presumably because that would ruin the hilarity.

It’s an insult to call the losers who did this awful deed Flyers fans. They are low life scum of the earth cowardly flea bags who should be locked up. It is a shame because it ruined a beautiful day and great game. As a Flyer fan I just want to say this was unacceptable behavior, an embarrassment to Philadelphia and I pray for this man’s speedy recovery.

It is gratifying to read your comment. I always had a great time in Philadelphia and the locals were very cool. Every place has it’s losers; it just seems like Philadelphia had a lot of them.

What kind of moron would confess to doing that when he didn’t?

The pathetic loser obviously wanted to bask in the infamy since his life is so empty and meaningless. He’s one of those internet tough guys who probably lives in his mom’s basement and has never met a fight he didn’t run away from. But on the net, he can be the man he can’t be in real life.
