Wow they carried 7 defensemen last night and Schultz was not one of them. Perhaps it’s time to ship him elsewhere if anyone is willing to part with a 6-pack and a pizza.

Exactly and he was playing better D than years before until he got hurt. Carlson gives up just as many stupid chances with his all of the sudden blowouts and slippery ice syndrome. No one dare same something bad about Carlson in the DC area though….for shame.

Amusing how bad people want to say Mike Green is lousy yet I bet (with very few exceptions) every other team in the league would trade their top D-man or both of their 2/3 d men for Mike Green in 0.1 seconds if they had the chance. Guaranteed.

Haha, not many people call him on that. He goofs up a lot and can cause just as much damage as he’s capable of providing. He finished the past two years close to even because of this.

“while the defense and goaltending are stiffening up”. you can throw that progress out the window. green is good for allowing at least 2 or 3 scoring chances per game normally on his own, lets see how bad it is on a “wonky groin”
