		<description><![CDATA[Wow, 14 of 30 NHL teams making less at the gate in 2010-11 than they did in 2007-08. I guess in fairness that season was right on the cusp of the US recession, and of course the Thrashets will see a substantial increase from last year to this year, but still.

Over 1/3 of the league is worse off on the even of CBA renegotiation than they were three years after the last lockout - and the cap ceiling has increased by nearly $15m since that season.

Hopefully this does not mean another lockout.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Assuming table is in US dollars and the strengthening of the Can Dollar, it isn&#039;t hard to imagine that Canadian teams have a higher US Dollar per game.  I wouldn&#039;t expect Canadian teams to lower, probably they increased, their ticket prices as the Canadian dollar strengthen.]]></description>
