I’d gain a ton of respect for them if O and the Caps actually turned in a ‘complete’ year, including holding the Stanley Cup in June. Anything short of that will only increase my disdain for their hyped up brand.

The Sabres just embarrassed them Monday night at home going up 4-0 in the first period and going on cruise control the rest of they way to win 4-2. They played the Rangers Wednesday at home and were vastly out shot, but the Rangers had Biron in net. Then they beat the Sabres at home last night 3-1 and they’re “heating up”? They lost to Colorado last week. Philly 5-1 twenty days ago. A few string along wins doesn’t equal heating up. They’re 4-4 in their last 8. At best they can finish December 8-6 with a win tonight. Heating up would be like a 5 game winning streak or plus .800 month.
