They bulldozed that to the ground. Besides – I think with attendance numbers they’d probably prefer to have the game played in a football field. The Meadowlands is going to be tough since it has two tenants. So, New York might be out of luck unless they pick Citi-Field.

The draw would be enormous! North Stars/Wild vs. Hawks alumni game would be an old Norris division classic and a great way to kick off the new conference. For those of you who will say that Dallas has the rights to the North Stars logo and history, you’re wrong. The NHL owns those rights and it could happen. Modano, Broten, Nanne, Mikita, Hull, Belfour………book it NHL.
