No, that team will be getting a selfish, classless scumbag with absolutely no concept of “team.” They will be getting a circus act, a sideshow that the entire NHL is sick of watching. They will be getting a guy who has managed to alienate himself from both teammates and management in three different franchises. They will be getting a guy who likes to run his mouth and then let his teammates fight his battles while he turtles. They will be getting a guy who scored 2 goals last season.

I don’t think too many NHL GM’s will be lining up to purchase Sean Avery’s services. At least this will give him more time to get manicures, visit the salon and go purse shopping. Hopefully he’s played his last NHL game and the next time we see his name in print it’s in the obituary section.
