I hope this clown never plays another NHL game. The entire league is tired of his circus act, and he has been totally ineffective for years. He might be the most classless scumbag to ever lace them up and play an NHL game in the history of the league. Here's hoping his career is finished as of today, he quickly blows through all of his money, and ends up broke, miserable and alone. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Good riddance, Sean, don't let the door hit you in the @ss. . .

I'm not happy he doesn't have to play against my team, I'm happy the entire league no longer has to be subjected to his antics. The guy is a complete waste of a roster spot. If the fact Torts hates him is all that's keeping him from continuing his "effectiveness" then somebody else who wants that so-called spark in their lineup will pick him up. Funny how that didn't happen last time and won't happen this time.

Fact is nobody out there wants anything to do with him and understandably so.

Avery has the moral turpitude of a bipolar crack whore who now makes money trafficking her underage sister. I imagine he is what Satan would look like if he could skate on the River Styx. That being the case, I suspect the Filthadelphia Flyers will pick him up.

I'm right here. The fact is Avery WAS an effective player for the Rangers. He looked good in the 15 games he played, and managed to score 3 goals with very limited ice time. I'd like to see many other NHL players score 3 goals in 15 games while playing about 4-5 minutes a game on the 4th line. If Avery was getting 12-14 minutes a game while playing with better players, even money says he would have produced quite well.... as he has in the past for the Rangers. Simple fact is Torts hates Avery. He would rather keep a loser like Fedotenko around who brings about zero spark for the Rangers, instead of a guy who would produce just as well (if not better)but who also brings some fire with him. Torts figures he can get away with playing favorites since the Rangers are playing well right now.

Your just happy your team doesn't have to play against Avery. If he was such a joke of a player, you would LOVE for the Rangers to have him in the lineup. After all, what do they say about never interupting your enemy when hes making a mistake?

Great news. Like I said last time this happened, I wonder where all of those who claim he is an effective player who people only hate because he's not on their team are. This guy is the biggest clown to play in the NHL this past decade. Hopefully this time he's being sent down for good.

He's not a modern day NHL player. Simple as that. His ice time reflects that as he hovered around the 5-minute mark and was even BELLOW 4 minutes...goodbye, Sean. Had he played 10 years ago he would be a core member of a team, but the sport has outgrown the type of player he is...plus his lack of respect makes most people, myself included, hate him.
