Serious b.s. To go to the phillies stadium for ten grand, I’ll wait for baseball time and watch hockey indoors, true fans can’t afford to go. Yuppies will be taken over and the crowd will be quiet

Its one thing if you were able to buy a ticket to the Winter Classic at face value, but I really couldn’t see paying anything more to go to the game. I mean other then the novely value of saying “Hey, I was there”…. I don’t get the draw of actually going to the out door games, especially paying outrageous prices to do it. The view isn’t that great for the majority of the seats, and the weather could be nasty.

To me, the best seats in the house are on my couch at home in front of my 55 inch TV. Funny enough, my TV probably cost less then tickets to the game would have… yet it will have the best view of the action. One of lifes little ironies.

Not to mention thousands expected for a Wendesday high school game between The Hill School of Pottstown, PA and NJ’s Lawrenceville Prep, two boarding schools with one of the oldest high school rivalries in the country.
