They are carrying too many forwards with Wolsky coming back soon… so they need to free up space. Might not be a trade, might just be someone getting waived… but its a move that needs to be made.

Other then that, I would expect a BIG move in Washington. My money says Semin will be traded. While hes certainly not living up to his $7 million contract… hes a worth while risk for a top contender given his talent, and contract that expires after this year. In return expect Washington to try to sure up their defense, or possibly even goaltending.

JVR is still extremely young and has shown a lot of upside, especially in the playoffs last season.
