The ‘Canes are a guaranteed lottery squad finish at this point and they’re missing their best forward while their captain is about as useful as a bag of dicks. True, he’s a former thirty-goal scorer, but he’s on a routinely uninspiring team.

Getzlaf’s Ducks are the biggest bust of the three in a dozen different ways, but he himself hasn’t hit the twenty-goal mark in three years. His peak is 25. It’s just not his forte.

Cammi, on the other hand… yeah, his team, like the other two, is combusting spectacularly, and yeah, he’s got less to work with than the others offensively… but he himself is the best goal-scorer of the bunch and only two seasons ago notched 39. He’s way better than either of the other two at scoring, and yet, he can’t score. Scott Gomez is a bust and that’s not news, but Cammalleri was at least SOMEWHAT reliable last season. You’re right – he’s the face of an utter disappointment. And he deserves to be.
