Well, we have no way of knowing how things will look by the end of the season, but if the playoffs were to happen right now, I don’t think there’s any arguing the possibility and likelihood of a Bruins repeat. They’ve just been playing at an extremely high level….consistently, for a long period of time now. Even when they lose major pieces of their team for a night or two, the rest of the team is still deep enough to carry the weight. And with Thomas and Rask backing them up? I don’t see many weaknesses on that team currently.

Just finished watching the Florida game. Wow, 8-0. I guess that’s another “statement” game. Geez, they just keep rolling. Right now, there’s NOBODY that can touch them. So good the see the Bruins play hard, with emotion and a physical presence. When you win a cup, you tend get teams at their best when you play them. I would think Lucic’s approach tends to dim some of that enthusiasm.

When they dropped four straight to the Flyers two years ago, I thought it was over for this team. I really did. Boy! Have they turned it around.
