seriously… can we move the spotlight to another team or teams? the Canucks did NOT win the cup in fact, they lost it in a terrible way… must we continue to beat the dead horse?

it was fun for a while but not it’s just old hat.

how about writing something positive? like how they’re 9-1-1 in their last 11 games? NAWWWW!

Nothing is more irritating then when people “clarify” earlier statements. Now, I am a Canucks fan and I think Bolland is a douce…however I have respect for people that say what is actually on their minds and not afraid of being politcally correct and answer every question with a boring dry statment. This is the kind of thing that further adds to the rivalry and makes it more entertaining. When did people become so damn sensative? A little trash talk enhances sports by amping up the emotion. Would people be happier if every answer players gave to questions about opponents was “they are a good team, they can skate, shoot, and pass well. Very solid goaltending. I respect them”.

Nice “read” statement.

Just be as real as your first statement; like, “I got carried away and said some things I shouldn’t have. Deep down, the Sedins are fantastic players as everyone knows and are great examples for the league, and I do respect them. I was just having fun and ended up saying some things I shouldn’t have. That’s my fault.”

At least it doesn’t sound like the PR secretary wrote something for you.

Welp. The Canucks’ll get a good laugh at his expense. It pays to remember the correct order of things – think, THEN talk. Start reversing the two and you’re just going to turn yourself into a punchline. Thanks, Dave. I needed a good laugh.
