I like how everyone says “who’s Dave bolland”. Dave bolland is the guy who won the Stanley cup 2 years ago. I believe thats 1 cup more than the sedins. The twins can put up great stats but without a cup, it means nothing

The Sedins obviously are very tough, look at how often they grimace and fall to the ice in pain. I’m sure they would never fake something like that.

What, you mean like Ovechkin or Stamkos or anyone else not named Crosby or Kane in recent history?

The Sedins play against top defenders every night. They don’t play in the slot. They cycle and work the boards. They take hits, slashes and cross-checks and still produce goals. That’s a rare feat, period.

Bolland is a good agitator. But there are a hundred guys in the juniors who could fill his roster spot.

Watch out, Canuck mafia out in force with their panties in a bunch. Maybe he said it because he knew he’d get a rise out of the heartless team and the equally whiny fan base. I’d venture the team is more a reflection of their fan base than vice versa. Sedins are no doubt great guys- too bad they ended up in a city which applaudes diving and pretending to be hurt. Bieksa’s got a point. Who the fuck is Dave Bolland other than “that guy who makes life hard for the Canucks”? Nobody actually knows who the guy is but for his expanded role in this particular rivalry. He’s a reasonably decent shutdown centre. Not exactly making the headlines with his talent, so I guess pulling a Sean Avery’s pretty much the only thing he CAN use to get the attention he apparently craves.

Surprised that nobody’s mentioned Henrik’s (ongoing) 530 + game iron man streak, or the fact that Daniel has missed only a handful of games since 2005.

I guess I’d have lots of energy to check the Sedins too if I sat out every time I had a hangnail like Bolland does.

I like Bieksa doing it but would have preferred AV to stick with Gillis’ approach. Bieksa certainly got it spot on though.

As far as Carcillo, should we wait around for him to call out Tanner Glass or Raffi Torres to fight or just assume he did and won? Well, they did play Phoenix last week, but don’t have anymore games against them or the Jets this season, so he’s missed his chance to retaliate against the ‘Canucks’.
