Noseface? Isn’t that a bit harsh? Cracking on someone’s beak? What is this, second grade?

Either way, it’s a dangerous thing to do to any skater, whether it’s intentional or not. You have to be responsible for your stick and your skates. The suspension tells me Marchand acted irresponsibly, but that there didn’t appear to be any malicious intent. He needs to learn to play smarter.

Slew footing, like skate stomping and elbows to the head, is just plain dirty. Anyone who does it should get a fine at the very least. Hopefully the league will realize how dirty of a play it is and start cracking down.

Then again, this is the NHL we’re talking about. Any crackdown would probably last two weeks before being forgotten about.

What a shocking development, the league being lenient on the Bruins.

Every time I wonder if I’m biased… something like this happens. I actually hope it keeps up, by the end of the year the pattern will be clear as day.

Slew-footing and spearing, two dirtiest plays in hockey… yeesh….

where’s the story on Foligno’s leg stomp? or the Refs forgetting to blow the whistle in the same game during a delayed penalty in which Luongo left his crease, went to the bench, only to realize.. “that was a delayed penalty on us?” .. what’s up with that??
